I wouldn’t have any issue with using this mouse full time and think it could be a sensible idea to help prevent issues related to the wrist and forearm. I certainly found it comfortable in use and saw no signs of strain at all. This mouse is designed primarily to benefit users with issues such as carpal tunnel syndrome or similar ailments and I since I don’t suffer from this, I can’t comment on the merits of this mouse in alleviating symptoms but it seems logical that it would improve matters.
Perhaps the biggest adjustment is actually getting used to the height of the mouse if you are continually swapping between keyboard and mouse and you bump into the mouse while reaching some other items on your desk. It is very comfortable to use for long periods at a time. While it takes a small amount of adjustment when moving to this mouse, it really does feel great in the hand and everything just falls into place. This model has a 1.8m USB cable which is a sensible length for use with a desktop machine.
